In windows when we delete a file or folder it does not get
deleted permanently. It moves to the recycle bin. Then if we remove them from
the recycle bin then it moves out of the memory. So if you want to free some
space from the memory then you need to delete the file from the recycle bin also.
But always deleting the same file from two places is boring and tedious. So if
you want to delete files immediately without removing it to the recycle bin then
there is a feature in windows to do that. But remember if you delete a file by
mistake then you will lost the file permanently (though there some way to
recover them but they don’t give any guarantee).
1.
Right click on the recycle bin. It will open the
context menu.
2.
Select and click properties menu.
3.
This will open the recycle bin properties
window. Select the option ‘don’t move files to the recycle bin. Remove files
immediately when deleted’.
4.
Click ok button of the window.
From now on whenever you delete a
file it will remove permanently from your computer. If you want to change the
setting .then follow the same steps and select the option custom size in
recycle bin properties window.
