To access the applications and folders quickly we create shortcuts of them in the desktop. But sometimes the number of icons increases so much that the desktop looks bad or sometimes when you are giving presentation to someone than you don’t need to display all the shortcuts to them . In such cases you need to delete all the shortcuts.but this is not a solution to the problem.as you will need them after the presentation. In that case there is feature to hide all the desktop shortcuts.here are the steps to hide all the desktop icons.
- Right click on the free space of desktop.this will open context menu.

Go to the view menu in the context menu.this
will open the submenus of the view menu.

In the submenu click on the ‘show desktop icons’
menu.
4.
All the icons will be hide.
Now to get back all the desktop icons follow
the same step and click on the show desktop icons menu and all the desktop
icons will be back.
